Their attention to detail was great with the fit out, sealing the edges and the end result was fantastic.

In 2015 we built two houses. We took our joinery plans to two other very reputable kitchen joiners in Adelaide. Both claimed they could not build the kitchen as per our plans and we required false cupboards. When Gawler Custom Specialist Joinery (GCSJ) provided a quotation not only were they able to build the kitchen as per our plans but the quotation was several thousands of dollars under the other two companies.

We engaged GCSJ to fit out our entire joinery for our homes. Our experience with GCSJ has been none other than exceptional. They were the most outstanding trade during our entire build. We have now settled into our new home and I’d like to thank you for the extremely high standard of the cabinets and professionalism of the whole firm. We appreciate the way the cabinets blend in with the overall high quality of the whole house.

From the start we were unsure how the fridge and freezer cabinet would work and how it would look, as with the study nook at the other end of the room, you managed to turn a potential problem into a sensational masterpiece that not only works well but looks fantastic.
We appreciate the time and effort which was taken in the planning stage by Justin and Josh (Summerton), then in the installation stage by the two Joshes. We also appreciated the communication of Josh (Summerton) during the installation process as he was quick to get to the point and easy to understand.
Our building manager, Garth Evans of Evco, made particular comment that working with them was easy as often is not the case with other cabinet makers.

Dear Alan,
Further to our phone conversation today we would just like to formalise our appreciation of the fantastic job you did in manufacturing our new kitchen, laundry and bathroom cupboards. Right from the beginning, nothing was too much trouble, you listened to what we wanted and did your best to make sure that is what we got. We came to you from a word of mouth recommendation and will certainly be telling our friends how happy we are with the cupboards, although they will be able to see for themselves the quality and the great workmanship. I can't speak highly enough of the installers either, once again nothing was too much trouble for them.

When deciding where to put the island bar they set it all up for me so I could see exactly how it looked before it was fixed in position and were willing to move things around to the nth degree to get it all perfect. It’s quite an eye opener when you go through the process of finding someone to help you upgrade your kitchen and laundry. Not having been through the process before would leave some people vulnerable to unscrupulous tradesmen who might overpromise and underdeliver. We were determined to get value for our hard earned money. As it turned out one guy spent 3 hours with us taking notes and scoping our project. We never heard from him again. Another guy quoted over double what we eventually paid. In the end, we went with a personal recommendation from good friends Deb and Peter who had just had their new kitchen installed by Gawler Custom Kitchens. And boy, aren’t we pleased we did.

Having a look at Deb and Peter’s kitchen, we could see the quality, craftsmanship and care that had gone into the construction and installation. It spoke of a company focused on customer service.

From the very first conversation we had, right through to the installation day, there was an honesty in everything the company promised.

Even though we did our research and had a pretty good idea what we wanted to achieve, we were delighted with the collaborative process during the planning stage. We were very confident to put our trust in Justin and his team.

Installation day was the ultimate proof that we had struck gold.
